I have lost a copy of my property tax bill. How can I get a copy of my bill?

 Property tax bills are mailed out each year till October 25th. If you lost your tax bill then you can get its copy at an additional cost of $1.00. 

You can get it in two ways:

1. Visit the office and get the bill by paying $1.00 in cash or check.

2. Send a mail along with an application mentioned your address, tax account number, year, and Check of $1.00 for each bill to 225 W. Olive St. Room 205 Newport, OR 97365.

May I know my taxes online?

 You can get the Assessor's information online but tax information is not available online. But you can call the Assessor at 541-265-4139 or email taxinfo@co.lincoln.or.us for tax information.

I have to leave town before October 25th, how will I know about my tax bill?

You can know the tax amount before October 25. The information about the tax amount is generally available from the middle of October. You may call the Assessor's office (5410 265-4139. You will be provided with the tax amount due, account number, and the address to where you can mail your tax amount or ask them to send your tax bill to your new temporary address.

What is the due date for paying property tax?

You will receive your tax bill by October 25th. You can pay your tax by November 15. If you don't pay by the due date, interest will be incurred from November 16.
