What is the penalty for the late payment of Property taxes in Memphis, TN?

Real Estate, Personal and State Assessed Property have a 1.5% interest added the first of each month on the unpaid tax balance after the delinquency date indicated on the tax bill sent to you by the City of Memphis's Treasurer.

Please note that CBID assessments have a 1% interest and 1% penalty added the first of each month on the unpaid assessment balance after the delinquency date.

When are Shelby County, Tennessee property taxes due?

Can I make partial property tax payments?

Shelby County Trustee's Office can and will accept partial payments. As long as the taxes are paid in full by the deadline there will be no interest charges. What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
