How do I get a copy of my driving record?
Driving records are processed through the Adjudication division. A driving record includes any special license classifications (CDL), restrictions, and a list of any tickets, accidents and/or suspensions you may have incurred in the last 3 years. You can request a copy of your driving record online, in person, or by mail at the Division of Motor Vehicles, Adjudication, 600 New London Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920. Can I order a vanity plate for my motorcycle?
Yes. As long as the plate is available and not currently registered to a passenger vehicle or another motorcycle, you may place the order. Costs are listed in the DMV Fee Table.
I've changed the color of my car. Is there anything I need to do?
Yes. You must update the information on your registration. You may do this at any DMV branch location.
