It also includes yard waste if you have signed up for this service with the City of Waterloo. The drinking water and sanitary sewer portion of your bill is calculated based on water usage as recorded by your water meter. There is a minimum charge for water service that includes a base volume of water to each customer.

Payment in check may be made by mail addressed to the Waterloo Water Works at P.O. Box 27, Waterloo, IA 50704, or at the Customer Service Center located on East Third Street between Sycamore Street and Lafayette Street.
The Customer Service Center provides an after hours depository box, a drive-up window and free customer parking for walk-in payments. The after hours depository box is emptied daily and all payments deposited will be credited to your account the following workday.
You may also request electronic payment so that your payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account. There is no fee for this service. You may also drop off your payment at either of two convenient pay stations located at Hy-Vee Crossroads and Hy-Vee University.
