When are Water bills due in Waltham, MA?

Waltham Water bills are issued quarterly in each of the four districts. Bills are due 30 days from the date of the bill and unpaid amounts accrue interest at 1% per month. 

What happens if I do not pay my Water & Sewer Bill in Waltham, MA?

Water & Sewer Bills are due and payable when rendered. The quarterly billed accounts are due generally 30 days from the billing date.  Monthly bills are billed around the first business day of the month, and are due generally on the last business day of that same month.  

Unpaid amounts accrue interest at 1% per month.  In addition, any account that has a balance that was billed prior to September 1, that is still outstanding as of the end of November will have that overdue balance added as a lien to the following year’s Real Estate Tax bill per Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Law and Waltham City Ordinance.  Also, a $25.00 lien charge will be added at this time.
