Where can I pay my bill?

There are a number of ways to pay your city utility bill. 

  • Payments can be made by Mail: You will need to attach your stub and write your account number in the memo section of your check. The mailing address is:
    City of Liberty, PO Box 232, Liberty, MO 64069. 
  • Payments can be made by Auto Bank Draft: To set this up, you will need to come to City Hall to fill out an ACH form and bring a voided check.
  • Payments can be made in Person at City Hall: at the cashier’s window inside City Hall (101 E. Kansas St.)
  • Payments can be made using the drop box: The night drop is collected at 8 a.m. on weekdays. The night drop is located across from the Liberty Police Department on Missouri St.

Is there a fee for late payments?

The fee for paying your City of Liberty utility bill late is 10% of what is past due for water and sewer. 

How often am I billed?

Liberty residents are billed once a month for utilities. Utility bills are mailed monthly and due each month.

The bills are split into two billing cycles: 

  • Cycle 1 is distinguished by an account number beginning with a 1 (i.e. 199.9999). These bills are mailed on or about the 25th of each month and are due the 20th of the following month. 
  • Cycle 2 is distinguished by an account number beginning with a 2 (i.e. 299.9999). These bills are mailed on or about the 10th of each month and are due the 5th of the following month.
