What are the payment options to pay my utility bills?

The City of Irving offers several utility bill payment alternatives:

Pay by Mail: You can mail payments to the address shown on the billing statement or 825 W Irving Blvd., Irving Texas 75060. Please allow seven to 10 business days for the payment to be reflected on your account.

Pay by Phone: You can pay bills by using an automated phone system. There are no additional fees to the customer using this option, and MasterCard, VISA or Discover credit cards are accepted.

Please have your credit card along with the utility account number available and follow the automated prompts by calling (972) 721-3774.

Pay in Person at the City Hall: You can your utility bill in person at the City Hall during the following hours: 

  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday

Payments received after 5 p.m. are posted to the account the next business day and may be subject to additional fees and penalties. Cash, check, money order, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit / debit cards are accepted.

You can also use the night drop box and drive-thru payment window. These are located on the drive between City Hall and the former Central Library, near the parking garage.
