What is the billing schedule for water bills?

Residential accounts are billed every 2 months with 6 bills issued per year. Commercial accounts are billed every month with 12 bills issued per year. There may be a one-month delay for your initial bill.

Please note that failure to receive an actual bill via mail does not waive the requirement to pay. If you do not receive your first bill within 60 days from the account establishment date, please contact Fulton County Customer Service.  

What are the different payment options?

Automated Telephone Payment Line (IVR):

Pay your bill anytime by calling (404) 612-6830 and selecting Option 2. A payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card, Visa and MasterCard debit card or Echeck. There is no convenience fee for this service.

Self-Service Payment Kiosk:

A Self-Service Payment Kiosk is located at 11575 Maxwell Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009. It is accessible Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm and on Saturday from 7:30am to 12:00pm.

A payment can be made using a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card, Visa or MasterCard Debit card or echeck. NO CASH payments are accepted at this location.

By Mail:

Please mail your payments in check or money order to:

     Post Office Box 105300
     Atlanta, GA 30348-5300

Please allow 5-7 business days to ensure payment is delivered by the due date.

In-Person:

Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards, cash, checks and money orders at the Fulton County Government Center (141 Pryor Street, Suite 7001, Atlanta, GA 30303) from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
