How do I pay my utility bill?

There are following methods by which you can pay your bills in Peoria city.

the Online Payment Portal:

Access your account information online using our customer web portal myaccount.peoriaaz.gov. You will need to register online before you are able to access your account. If you need assistance with online registration or your account access please contact Customer Service at 623-773-7160.

Automatic Monthly Withdrawal:

Automatic withdrawal can be set up online through the customer web portal, in person, or over the telephone.  Online Sign-up: Log-in to myaccount.peoriaaz.gov and click on "Setup Automatic Payments"  Choose your preferred method of payment: Checking/Savings Account Setup/Change or Credit/Debit Card Account Setup/Change Fill in your account information and click submit.

Pay by Telephone:

Dial (623)-773-7160 to pay your utility bill with our 24-hour automated phone system. Press 0 if you would prefer to make your payment with a representative during business hours, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Mail (Check, Money Order):

Please write your account number on your check or money order and make it payable to the City of Peoria.   Mail to: City of Peoria PO Box 80031 Prescott, AZ 86304-8031 (This Prescott address is our payment processing center).

In-Person:

Payments can be made by cash, check money order, and credit card at the customer service center located in the City Hall Complex:  City Hall, 2nd floor 8401 W. Monroe, Peoria, AZ 85345 Hours of operation: Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

*Please only deposit checks or money orders in this box. The contents are processed daily, Monday - Thursday.

Credit Card:

The City of Peoria accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. To pay by credit card, you may pay in person, online or over the phone. When paying in person, the back of your card must be signed.

Cash:

In-person, only at City Hall.

Check, Money Order, Cashier's Check:

By mail or in person. 

How do I start or stop utility services?

Start Service:

A minimum of 24 hours advance notice is required for the new service. ** A $50.00 set-up fee will be charged on your first bill. Service may be started over the phone or in person. Please see the setup requirements below:  

Homeowners:

  • Escrow #, Title company name, and phone number
  • Homeowner name/Service Address/Mailing Address/Primary phone number
  • Alternate phone number (if applicable)
  • Social security number
  • Date of birth
  • Employer name/Employer phone number (if applicable)

Renters/Tenants:

  • $225 deposit
  • Signed lease/rental agreement
  • A completed Application for service

Ways to submit:

  • Fax signed lease and application to 623-773-7159. Next call 623-773-7160 to pay the required deposit with a credit/debit card.
  • Email signed lease and application to customerservice@peoriaaz.gov. Next call 623-773-7160 to pay the required deposit with a credit/debit card.
  • Present signed lease and application in person at City Hall: City Hall, 2nd floor 8401 W. Monroe Peoria, AZ 85345
