What are the different options to pay my utility bill?

Pay by Mail: You can send payments with your account number on the check or money order to:

Pay by Phone: You can pay your utility bill by phone using your Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card 24 hours a day by calling (833) 408-8405.

Pay via Home Banking: If your bank offers online or home banking, you can use your computer to pay your City of Long Beach utility bill via our Electronic Funds Transfer option. Check with your bank, credit union, or bill payment service provider for more information.

Pay In Person: Payments may be made in person at Long Beach City Hall between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday in the lobby by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or debit card. There is also a 24 hour drop box for payments located on the east side of City Hall.

When Is My Utility Account Considered Past Due in Long Beach, CA?

Long Beach Utility bill is due and payable upon presentation and is considered past due if not paid within 15 days of the date prepared. The date the bill was prepared is printed on your bill.

Does The City of Long Beach provide a way for For The Deaf (TDD) Or The Visually Impaired to contact them?

Yes! Hearing-impaired customers can call (562) 570-6693 to be connected to TDD equipment. The visually impaired can request an alternate format bill by calling (562) 570-5700.
