When are the utility bills due?
The bills are due when presented. However, there is a 30-day grace period.
How is interest calculated on my utility bill?
Interest is calculated to the date of billing once it is past due. Interest is charged at 8% on the first $1,500 and 18% on any charges over $1,500.
If I do not pay my utility bill will it be included in the tax sale?
Yes. Unpaid water/sewer and CCMUA bills that are from the prior year are sold at the Tax Sale.
