What if I made some changes to my property?

The new changes in your property will be reappraised at market value. And the tax for the new changes will be calculated to the average level of other property. For instace, the factor for adjustment for residential property is 0.623. The date for the assessment of property is January 1st. So the bill which you will receive in October, will reflect what you had in January.

When will I receive my tax statement?

Property tax bills are sent to the property owners till October 25th. The last date to pay taxes without penalty is November 16. If you pay on or before November 16, you will get 3% discount on the tax value. If you don't receive your tax bill till November 1, please call at (503)846-8741.

May I check my tax bill online?

Yes, you can check your tax bill online on the county's website.  For this, you would require an account number or address. When you enter the information, a pop-up window will appear, please accept them to access your data. It will only show you the certified tax roll information.
