What payment options do I have to pay my property taxes in Vanderbugh County?

The following are the different payment options to pay property taxes in Vanderbugh County: 

Pay by Phone: You can pay by phone using any major credit card by calling 1-800-2PAYTAX (1-800-272-9829). You will need to provide the following “jurisdiction code” – 2405.

Please note that there is a 2.60% transaction fee to take advantage of this feature. The transaction fee depends upon the amount of your tax payment. A Transaction Fee Schedule is included with your tax bill under "Credit Card Payment Options." The transaction fees are identical whether paying by phone or mailing in your credit card information.

Pay by Mail: You can mail in your property tax payment with check, money order, cashier's check to PO BOX 77, Evansville, IN 47701-0077.

Pay in Person: You can also make in person payments by visiting the Vanderburgh County Treasurer’s Office at The Civic Center, 1 NW MLK Jr. Blvd., Room 210. 

You can also drop off your payment in our drop box in front of the Civic Center.  The drop box is available to the public 24 hours a day.

Pay by Debit: You can setup to Pay by electronic deduction from your bank account. This is called Debit Option. To set up the Debit Option payment plan, please contact the Treasurer's Office at 812-435-5248. There is NO CHARGE to take advantage of this payment option.

Pay Online: You can make seamless payments with your credit card or electronic check online by choosing the PAY NOW option above.
