When are property taxes due in Sutter county?
The 1st installment of the annual secured taxes was due by December 10, 2020. Please note, we are still processing mail postmarked December 1-10th due to limited staff. If your payment was mailed with a postmark date on or before December 10th, it will be considered timely.
Can I pay my property tax payments in installments in Sutter county?
Property Tax bills are mailed annually by November 1 and may be paid in two installments.
What are the penalties if I don't pay my property taxes on time?
Delinquent 1st and 2nd installments are subject to a 10% penalty. Delinquent second installments are also subject to a $10 cost charge.
