What are delinquent taxes?

If you don't pay your property tax by the due date then your tax will become delinquent. You will be charged a penalty and interest. You first have to pay the delinquent tax and then will be able to pay the next year's taxes.

What if I don't satisfy with the assessed value of my property?

If you feel your property is highly valued then you can contact the Assessor to the reassessment of your property. They will explain to you why your property was high assessed and if needed they will also visit your property.

Where does my tax go?

All properties are assessed for tax. The tax is the only source of income for local government. It is used within the county to pay to government schools, firefighters, police, and public roads.
