When are Shelby County property taxes due?
Shelby County property taxes become due the first Monday in October of each year. Taxes may be paid through the last day of February of the following year without additional fees.
Can I make partial payments?
The Trustee's Office can and will accept partial payments. As long as the taxes are paid in full by the deadline there will be no interest charges. If a partial payment is made on a delinquent tax it will be applied to court and miscellaneous costs first, then interest and the remainder, if any, to the base tax.
