when are property taxes due in San Juan?

Tax Bills are mailed out by November 1 every year. The FULL AMOUNT OR the FIRST HALF of the property tax is due November 10th and becomes delinquent if not paid by close of business day on December 10. 

How do I find out property taxes in my area?

In general, you can expect your home's assessed value to amount to about 80% to 90% of its market value. You can check your local assessor or municipality's website, or call the tax office for a more exact figure for your home. You can also search by state, county, and ZIP code on publicrecords.netronline.com 

How to make payment?

Payment can be made one of four ways;
1. in person through Treasurer's office windows,
2. mailed to the processing center at P.O. BOX 912720, Denver, CO 80291-2720,
3. mailed to the physical address at 100 S. Oliver Dr., St. 300, Aztec, NM 87410, or
4. it can also be done online.
A valid mailing address is needed for the tax bill to be delivered in a timely manner. Please contact the Assessor's office at 505-334-6157 to update your mailing address.
