When are Property Taxes due in Pitkin County, Colorado?

If the due date for your Pitkin County property tax payment falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, it shall be deemed to have been timely paid if filed on the next business day. 

  • February - If paying property taxes in 2 equal installments, the 1st half of taxes must be postmarked no later than the last day in February.
  • April - If paying property taxes in a single payment (not paid in installments) the full/whole amount must be postmarked no later than April 30th.
  • June - If paying property taxes in 2 equal installments, the 2nd half of taxes must be postmarked no later than June 15th.
