Summer taxes are sent out on July 1 and are due and payable through August 31st.  A 3% late fee will be assessed on September 1st. The City does not accept postmarked mail as the payment date, nor does it waive penalties. 

Winter taxes are sent out on December 1st and are due and payable through February 14th. A 3% late fee will be assessed on February 15th. Payments will be accepted at City Hall until February 28th. After February 29th, taxes are considered delinquent and must be mailed to the Newaygo County Treasurer's Office, PO Box 885, White Cloud, MI 49349.  Please make sure to contact them at (231) 689-7230, as additional charges may be incurred at that time.
