Please note that this service is provided by a third party service and hence the following transactions fees apply: 

  • If paying online by credit card (Visa, American Express, Discover, or MasterCard) the fee will be 2.35% (no minimum).
  • If paying online by debit card (Visa or MasterCard) the fee will be 1% of payment, $1 minimum.
  • Payments made by electronic check will be charged a fee of 50 cents.

Is there any discount for making early tax payments?

 Yes, a discount on early payments is available. If you pay the full amount of your property tax by November 15, then you will get a 3% discount. For paying 2/3 of the full amount, then you will get a 2% discount and the remaining must be paid by Many 15. You will not get any discount if you pay 1/3 of the full amount till November 15 and the second installment will be due by February 15. The third and the last payment must be paid till May 15.

How do I know if my mortgage company is paying my property tax or not?

If the color of your tax statement which you received, is yellow then it means some other company like a mortgage has requested to pay your property tax. If you have changed your mortgage company or recently paid off your loan then please pay this tax bill by yourself. And for the next time, request to change the mortgage company in the recorder's office. If you have any further questions, please contact the Revenue's office. 



How much interest is charged on delinquent tax?

 If you don't pay your property tax by the due date, then your tax will become delinquent and you will be charged a penalty plus interest. The interest will be at a rate of 1.3333% per month. For more queries, please call at 503.988.3326.
