Can I make partial payments?
Yes, it's totally up to you either pay annually or pay in two installments. Just follow the due dates. If any of your tax becomes delinquent then you will be charged a penalty fee of 1.5% each month until you pay.
Will I get any discount if I pay earlier?
No, Kankakee county doesn't offer any discount on making early payments of tax.
May I know my next year's tax bill?
You can't check the exact amount of your tax bill until it is mailed out in the month of May. Although you can take an estimate from my last tax bill.
May I make prepayments?
Yes, you can pay your future taxes by making prepayments. You have the option to pay either in one full payment or in two installments. There is a 1% service fee for every E-Check. For paying with a Credit/Debit Card, the service fee is 2.25% of the total amount that you are paying.
