How do I pay my Property Taxes?

There are three different payment methods: cash, check, or card. You can pay in person in our office at 66 SE D St. Suite E, mail in your payment, or pay online Here 

Can I pay my taxes before I receive my bill?

Per State Administrative Rule 150-31.250(4) we are not able to collect or accept payments until the tax roll has been certified.  This usually happens the second week of October.  You may contact our office to see if the roll has been certified; once it has you may send payment.

When will the tax statement be mailed?

Tax Statements are mailed out no later than October 25th. If a taxpayer chooses to make trimester payments, our office will mail trimester statements approximately 3 weeks before the due dates of February 15th and May 15th.

I missed the Tax Due Date, what penalties will I have?

Interest is charged on property tax at the rate of 16% annually, or 1.33% per month on delinquent taxes. The interest posts to the account on the 16th of each month.
