Where can I pay my property taxes?

You can pay by cash, check, debit or credit card at any of our 4 office locations throughout Grayson County. Payments by check only should be mailed to: Grayson County Tax Office P.O. Box 2107 Sherman, TX 75091 Please make your check payable to Bruce Stidham, and if possible, enclose the copy of your tax statement with your payment. Online property tax payments by credit card or e-check are also accepted.

Can I pay my property taxes online?

Yes. The Tax Office accepts full or partial payment of property taxes online. Property taxpayers may also use any combination of credit cards and/or e-Checks for payment. Online, we accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit/debit card. A non-refundable convenience fee of 2.5% will be charged by Certified Payments. E-check fee is $1.50.

The name and address on this statement are incorrect. How can I get it changed?

The Grayson Central Appraisal District is responsible for determining each property owner's name and address. We can send you a name and address correction form, and then you forward it to the Grayson Central Appraisal District. If it is more convenient, you can get the form directly from the Grayson Central Appraisal District by calling (903) 893-9673.

When I receive my Grayson County tax bill, when is the last day that I can pay without penalty and interest?

anuary 31 of the following year. For example, if bills go out in October of 2016, the last day to pay without penalty and interest is January 31, 2017. Payments are commonly made by mail and MUST BE POSTMARKED by the United States Postal Service on or before January 31. On February 1, penalty and interest begin to accrue at 7% and increase monthly until taxes are paid in full.
