When are taxes due for the current year?

Tax statements are mailed on October 1st or as soon thereafter as possible. Taxes are due upon receipt and become delinquent on February 1st of the following year.

What types of payment options are available?

You can pay your taxes by U.S. Legal Tender by cash, check, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.

Do you take partial payments?

No, we do NOT accept partial payments. We do allow payment for one tax unit at a time as long as it is paid in full. Please note that County taxes MUST be paid as one unit (General Fund and Drainage Fund). Taxes due in October become delinquent February 1st of the following year.

How much is the convenience fee for paying property taxes with a credit card?

Online Property Tax Payment Fees Credit/Debit Transactions (no PIN): All Credit/debit Cards: 2.25% of total, minimum fee of $1.00 E-Checks: No Convenience Fee In Person (at the counter) Property Tax Payment Fees Credit/Debit Transactions (no PIN): All Credit/debit Cards: 2.30% of total, minimum fee of $2.50
