When are property taxes due in Faulkner county?

In Faulkner County, all properties are assessed between January 1st and May 31st of each year.  Property taxes are mailed out in the Spring. If you don't receive your tax bill till July 1, please contact the office. The tax will be due on or before October 15th. If you don't pay by the due date, a penalty of 10% will be added to the tax plus 10% annual interest on real estate property.

How can I pay my property tax in Faulkner county?

Property taxes are payable from the first day of March through October 15th in Faulkner county. You can visit Faulkner County Courthouse for paying your property tax from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You can also pay your tax online on the county's website. 

Note: A convenience fee will be charged for paying with a credit card.

Am I eligible for a homestead exemption?

If you're an owner of one home or one mobile home then you will receive a homestead credit of $375 each year. You don't need to apply every year. When you move to another location, then you will have to reapply. Homestead exemption is also available for those who are totally disabled or older than 65. For further assistance, please call your county assessor at (501)450-4905.
