FAQs

Can I make a partial payment?

All tickets must be paid in full. We cannot accept partial payments.

How can the court assist me in resolving my parking ticket?

Mineola Justice Court can assist you in two ways; we can accept a  payment or arrange for you to appear in court.   Any other issues  related to parking fields, violations, code enforcement, or meters need  to be addressed directly with the Parking Supervisor.

How can I pay my ticket?

Tickets can be paid online www.mineola-ny.gov,   by phone 516-701-3764, by mail, or in person.  We accept payments at  our window Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm.  Only parking tickets can be  paid online or over the phone.  Traffic violations and building code  violations cannot be paid online or over the phone.

How do I dispute the ticket?

In order to dispute a summons, you must appear in court before the  judge.  All court dates are made by appointment only.   We do not accept  walk-in’s to court; you must be on the court calendar.

Respond  within five (5) days from date of issuance so that we can guarantee a  court date prior to your ticket amount increasing.  Court nights book up  very quickly.  If you do not respond within five days, the next  available court date may be after your ticket amount has increased.
