You can pay a fine outside of court for violations that do not require a court appearance. If you wish to plead “Not Guilty”, you will have to come to court on your scheduled court date. You will be reset for a Trial calendar, the officer will be subpoenaed, and you will go before the judge to present your case.
We do not accept partial payments. If you’re not able to pay the full amount, you will need to come to court. The Judge can elect to either give you an extension to pay or put you on probation to make payments. Payment is expected once the case has been disposed of, with the exception of someone going on probation or any other pre-arranged conditions that have been granted by the Judge.
