Does my disabled placard allow unlimited parking in a timed space?

Vehicles properly displaying a disabled placard are allowed to park for  an unlimited time in 90 minutes zones and green zones (20 minutes).  Vehicles with disabled placards are not allowed to park in a red zone.          

How can I appeal a parking citation?

Parking citations are a civil, not criminal  process, and therefore, the criminal courts are not involved. The City  of Albany contracts with Citation Processing, Inc. in Colorado to handle  its parking citation administrative processes. If you feel you received  a citation that was unfair, unjust, or issued in error, you may appeal  it.

2. Complete the form, sign it, and  return it with a copy of your citation, and copies of all applicable  permits, placards, or other documentation relevant to your appeal. Send  the package to this address:

*The request must be received within 21 days of citation issue. 

You will be notified of the results by  mail. If your appeal is not granted, you will be informed as to your  rights and the procedure to take your appeal to the second level.
